Anyways, while my mind is racing at a million microns a fucking minute let me say that last night while at work I was going to finally admit that I HATE Nintendo. The last 2-3 years could have been better, and I am getting older. Less and less time to play games, so on and so forth that part of the story matters little. Just know I Hated Nintendo and everyone involved with Nintendo or ever had a Nintendo in their username on this site.

 

But then ( despite all of Reggies efforts) the guys in Japan surprised me for once. Yet again Nintendo Direct  was wonderful! Zelda, ...Murder.....errr. Another Mario, Yoshi's quilt, Xenoblade or something, and some other stuff. I am sorry again Nintendo.

 

I will pretend that the Banana on the table is yours and commence the sucking once again.

 

Anyone else mad at Nintendo this past year, but now they are forgiven? Or is it just me?

You joined the Vgchartz in 2009 and we know your posting habits.  This is why you have had less time to game during that period.

Nintendo has basically become the George Lucas of the videogame industry... they continue to torture their longtime fans that grew up loving their games by putting out total schlock, the endless milking and whoring out of their existing franchises, and just not understanding their fans or "getting it".

Nintendo needs to just sell themselves to Disney already and get it over with.

Edit: And to stop being sloths with their games, Yoshi Epic Yarn?  Really?  What's after that?  New Super Mario Bros: Epic Yarn Edition?  "Play New Super Mario Bros for the 5th time now with more yarn!"  Wind Waker Remake looks nice, but that's all it is, a remake.  Announcing a new 3D Mario is nice and all, but footage?  Are we going to get another Galaxy rehash?  Mario Kart... again?, there've been more Mario Karts in the past 6 years than Final Fantasies.  I want them to be bold again and show me why they made a tablet controller instead of making a tablet controller to sell consoles.


Oh Dear god I hope so.  But honestly.  I would loooove a Link's Epic Yarn ^^.

I mean they just showed me WW in HD and I was thrown back in time a relived my childhood... so many nostalgic moments ;)

and on a side note this week Doug Walker announced the return of the Nostalgia Critic which made me very happy^^


So in a nutshell = They will certainly be forgiven by many people... including me for sure :)

How about when Nintendo have a game you would enjoy get it and enjoy it and at other times don't be such a emotional wreck as there are other game systems and one or the other always has some good games coming out or in the back catalog available for you.

The systems they sell at a loss... so consider that your price of entry but it is also their price of entry to your potential buys of games you are interested in.

Yeah.  I agree.  Nintendo has released way too many Mario Kart games in the past 6 years.  There have been like two of them.  Once every three years?  Come on Nintendo, stop milking it.  I'm sick of these trianual releases.

They jumped from double dash (the second) to Mario Kart 7  (3DS), 4 have been released in 6 yearsish, this new one will make 5 in 7?

Mario Kart DS (2005)
Mario Kart Wii (2008)
Mario Kart 7 (2011)

So unless your six years count diferently than mine, there have been only 2 Mario Kart titles in the last six years. And now if it releases this year it would be 3 in 8, i guess they are truly milking their franchise...

I was thinking of Double Dash at the end of the cycle (Counting it at 06 instead).  When was the GBA version out?  03?

Do you like, not have access to google or something?  Super Circuit was out in 2001.  The Mario Kart games have come out between 2 and 3 years each time, with an average of 2.85 years.  There have been 7 Mario Kart games spread across 2 decades.  There have been 4 Uncharted games and that series started in 2007.  Halo started in 2001 and we've had 7 of those.  God of War is going to have it's 6th game next year, not counting 2 compilations.  11 Ratchet games since 2002.  5 Forza games since 2005.  Nine Assassin's Creed games since 2007.  16 Call of Duty games from 2003..

Nintendo sure has released a lot of Mario Kart games.

Well, I never got mad with Nintendo or anything, I just stopped playing Nintendo games. I actually stopped playing console games over all in the beginning of the 2000's. But I "forgave" Nintendo the moment I played Zelda TP and Wii Sports on the Wii in early 2007.

I love you Nintendo for opening up the door for console gaming to me again!!

Nonsense, they are not torturing me at all. I hope for more, more and even more Nintendo games to come out in the future.

In sharp context, I want Lucas to stop. Everything. Forever. When you think selling out to Disney might actually improve things, you know there is nothing left. 0% pure faith.
