Forums - Nintendo Discussion - New Earthbound coming to Wii U by Monolith Soft?

If it's true, I'm gonna scream like a little girl!

Around the Network

well I am sure that this is the new for today's nintendo direct

Switch!!!

WAY too good to be true.

I would live someone to finally finish up Earthbound 64 though!

What I would love to see is a license collaboration with Square for a Nintendo (Their Monolithsoft stududio) developed Xenogears remake or reimagining... Also way too good to be true.

No B-series RPGs like Baten Kaitos please.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Never played Earthbound, so that wouldn't sit too well with me; and it wouldn't be in line with what they said that they wanted to make a game that competed with western RPG's and that showed that Japanese companies still can make good games...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Earth Bound game for 3DS and new game for Wii U.

We already know that Monolith is working on a 3DS game too.

Yes please xD .
That or Xenosaga 2

Everything involving Xenosaga since Monolithsoft was bought by Nintendo, says ©NBGI, so Xenosaga still belongs to Bandai Namco.

is earthbound a game genre like pokemon or am I mistaken ?

I have never played that franchise.

I'd rather play an new Xeno game personally...but this would be cool (if localised!)

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Earthbound is an RPG that largely satires the light-RPG genre of the 80's and 90's. Plus it has one of the most charming game universes I have ever seen.

Would be nice but kinda odd if the art and design style is different.

Maybe they should just try to get Studio Ghibli to co-produce O_o
