If Nintendo could release international versions of Mother 1 and 3 on Virtual Console, that would make this news all the sweeter.

Well if it was a remake of Mother 2/Earthbound it wouldn't be an entirely new game (e.g. Mother 4) it would just be a remake.

I think no matter what they are doing it will be great.They are one of the best Dev Teams in this Gen.

Its funny how people already start to cry if MAYBE someone like Monolith is touching an old franchise.
There is a pattern - Even if great devs like them touch "known" names they start to cry.
Its not about the changes(even if they are MAYBE good) - Its just about for the sake of crying around.
Just the thought over it makes people angry - Its not like they will turn it into bald space marine adventures or something like that.
