First of all, do you think it's a psychological or biological condition/defect/disorder which can be cured in the first place?

Or is it something people do entirely by choice?

Or is sex a fluid medium, where everyone is a bit gay, just some more then others, and thus homosexuality is normal?

If you think it's some sort of ambiguity, which is different from what's Biologically and Psychologically normal (A Defect, a Disorder, a Condition, ehatever you want to classify it as), Do you want to "cure/fix" this disorder? Or do you think it's such a minor thing, people should just accept this, as defects/conditions, which aren't harmful, are normal.

Homosexuality could be cured, I think. If it's something in your genes, we can change that. (Based off of recent research.) If it's your choice, we can change that. If it's something that's been put onto you, we can change that.

Does that mean I want to change it? No. I think it's perfectly fine.

I would hope, in this case, the government wouldn't be influenced by the Church. No one has any right to change a person for who they are just because someone doesn't think they are right with who they choose to spend their lives with.

I think its a choice that people make, much in the same way one chooses to love another person.

Having said that, I find no reason to force people into choosing whom they do or do not love. That should be a voluntary choice.

What does "normal" mean? It's not normal in the sense that we are "supposed" to be attracted to the opposite sex in order to procreate and keep our species alive. In that case it's kind of the opposite of normal. Then again, maybe it is normal because it acts as some sort of minor population control mechanism since not everyone has the desire to procreate? :P

Anyways, it could be changed. Anything about us humans can be changed.
