Geez wait till xbox and PS4 launch, or at least e3 so we know prices and release dates.

Its ludicrous to give an exact number, but a "ball-park" estimation is more likely once we know all the factors.

As for Wiiu, using history it can either end up as the Gamecube or end up like 3DS is now, depending on how they handle the coming months. History is fun!, its your friend :)

Prices for Orbis/Durango are 350-450, release dates are November 2013 - March 2014. Start backing up your claim.

Thats a very vague window. We need exact prices and exact launch dates. March 2014? Some people still say PS4 will be holiday 2014.I know right, distressing stuff.

I can only predict WiiU lifetime sales at this time, which I have.

Right now, based on nothing at all, I think MS number 1 by far. SONY will suffer (because SONY as a company has terrible corporate culture and are struggling. Their employees will be stressed and make bad decisions) Nintendo is coming off a high, the Wii U could be a write off and they'll focus on their next console. Nintendo has kept pushing through when their consoles didn't sell. They'll be fine long term, but the Wii U just doesn't have that appeal atm.

Exact prices $400 for durango/orbis, both release November/December 2013. Get busy.

Based upon that price point and that release, use your "history" from last generation to predict the future lifetime sales of all consoles, including Wii U. I will await to read your thoroughly researched and well-constructed response.

Why must I work to guess on a guess you make? Sorry if you want things now, Now, NOW! but I rather wait until we know whats actually going on, not vague estimations. Which is why I can safely with confidence predict Wiiu lifetime sales based on history, as we know all there is to know about it.

Secondly I seriosuly doubt the prices will be exact, not to mention the release dates. Its just weird and laughable that you expect me to go on a wild goose chase over a scenerio that isn't real (or at least confirmed).

Sorry buddy, my rationale is sound, it just requires sound evidence to draw upon. Sorry I can't fast forward time so I can find out the release dates and prices of the xbox and PS4. I dont know what to tell you.

It isn't a guess, rumored prices are between 350-450, I made the middle the price point. I doubt that will be off by more than $50 which, quite frankly, isn't much. Release window is, again, speculated to be between November and March, with more recent rumors stating both November/December this year.

Based upon those rumors from an abundance of sources, tell me lifetime sales. Otherwise, stop professing that history repeats itself, trends repeat themselves, and whatever else you've said. If you have no emipirical data, you have no case.

But your guessing. I personally make educated assumptions based on absolutes.

Its stupid to say I have no case when we dont know the REAL specs and dates and prices of the xbox and PS4. Sorry but history does repeat itself in that its factors repeat themselves. WiiU eill either go the Gamecube route or the 3ds route depending on what Nintendo deems necessary in the coming months. As for Xbox and PS4.......just gotta wait for the facts.

These are two completely different results, you said you could accurately predict based upon trends. Well? Can you, or can't you? Obviously you cannot. We're done here, you're absolutely confused about what is a prediction and what is an analysis.

Well as of right now, its going the Gamecube route. But the future is never set in stone as business decisions can change outlooks. So you alter your predictions as the company does. So until then, I predict a 30 -35 million lifetime sales for WiiU based on current trends. But that could change, based on the history that is the 3DS initial year on the market.

Dont understand why your being so overly hostile. In general all history in all contexts, no matter the subject, are beneficial in deciding how the present can shape out long term.
