We don't need video games to survive so I'm not sure if this is even a valid question.

I want to move on, but I am not going to until I finish all the games I have now.

Then you're wrong. You can play the games you own with Dolphin. That is what many do already, because they dislike the incredibly low-res graphics on Wii.

How is that possible? You can't just put it in the CD/DVD tray.

I think he means the logic that if you've bought the game legally, you can feel less bad about downloading a torrent of it later on.

Oh, that. I guess that makes sense.

Either way, my 2010 MacBook Pro won't run this.

if we only had things we need to survive, i wouldn't want to survive

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

in all honesty it all depends on what it brings, If its just better graphics then i wouldnt be fussed about a new generation of consoles, But obviously if it does bring bigger games (as in length it take to complete) and also better performance wise with whats on screen at one time and be able to cope easily, then im ready for it and want it.

hurray for modern technology!

The PS3 is the last 7th gen system with lots of huge games coming plus I have a massive backlog of games I'm currently working though. By the end of 2013 il be ready!

Beyond ready. This gen has grown stale already. It's no wonder sales are crashing.
