im so getting this

Just beat lunatic mode and its very difficult, especially since u can't save between levels

First fire emblem game, I loved the demo. I would like a little backstory. Who is Marth? I've played him in smash, but that's the extent of my knowledge. Tell me a little bit about the lore. I will be buying this day one.

they have a lot of dedicated Fire Emblem sites you can read his back story on, but I would suggest picking up shadow dragon on the DS.  You can probably get it real cheap on Amazon.

The demo was nothing short of awesome, going through shadow dragon now on Hard level 3 and i'm almost finished. I love how the show you the boost stats of adjacent chars in the battle. The maps and layout are significantly better. The graphics, well, nothing short of awesome. The cinematics are even better, and imo the voice acting is really good as well. My only complaint is Marth, but I'm not sure if that's really Marth, it could be a woman.

The JP voice for marth is pretty high too. Guess VA quality does matter.

Yeah those cinematics are beautiful, they actually look better in 3D which is a 1st.

I thoroughly enjoyed the demo. I played it three times so far and it's a lot of fun. Though, I'm not really liking the characters or dialogue too much for this Fire Emblem, but hopefully that'll change when I get the full game. It's not that the chracters are bad or that the dialogue ir horrible, it's just nothing that stands out so far. But the game plays really nicely. It's kind of like it sort of plays like a really good Fire Emblem harhar. But in all seriousness, the gameplay is really great. For the little taste given by the demo, it keeps true to the franchise while add very welcome new aesthetics such as the paring up. It works really well.

As for those cutscenes. Wow, they look nice! Someone needs to do a full 3D JRPG with that style.

Oh, also, I found the 3D to be very underwhelming. Oddly enough, the 3D looked best in the part that deosn't really need it: the battlefield.

So, anyone else going to play this game on Lunatic and Classic?

I'll try, but only for my 3rd playthrough or something. As for the 3D being better on the field, I hope you're referring to the ash in the 1st chapter, that surprised me.

Yeah, I'm debating between hard classic and lunatic classic. I mean, lunatic was a fair challenge in this demo, but a fun one and hard felt way too easy, but these are the first two missions of the game and are likely the easiest, so hard might not be so easy later on.
