I think you're reading it wrong. The A8 APU has a 7670D built into the APU. I don't think this means a 2nd GPU at all. This is closer to the original rumors for PS4 (and neXtBox) vs the newer stuff.

You're right...but yeah, that's just crazy. I guess $299 launch price is possible if that's the case.

The whole "does it run crysis?" question is back on if these are the specs...

So Semiaccurate was right a year and a half ago.

They say 720 is faster and neither chip is an off-the-shelf part so can't really be claimed to be "a 7670" or whatever.

It could be that those were ballparks rather than final production chips. Keep in mind that this dates back to at least 2 years ago. A lot has changed since and new rumors suggest more current hardware will be used instead.

I think the way the article is written is a bit misleading. The way it's worded makes it sound like this new issue with the former AMD employees leaking information has been revealed to be the same information they heard when it's not true..
