I count IP sales for a given year using games within each IP that are currently selling decent. In my case, its 2 vs 1 simply because F4 and Horizon both sold great. F2 and F3 didn't, same goes for GT5:P and GT PSP.

Uh.....wha..........? How did GT5:P not sell great? 5 million buyers to a Prologue?

nono....didnt sell great in 2012.....thus I didnt include it. Same goes for Forza 2 and 3.

Who knows? And install base doesn't make everything : which one dominates in the most countries? Which one has more exclusives and the widest array of genres? Which one has been relying on casual stuff to keep up?

Or which has a bigger library, more 70-79, 80-89, 90+ rated games, or better online.

Wow you expect the console winner next gen to take 60% of the market? Can you explain why? That seems like quite an extreme position. The winner this gen is at 40% and that is slowly dropping.

I think PS4/720 will share 75-80% of the market in some fashion with a near equal split.

Yes, I remember this possible future. But then Kaz Hirai turned left instead of right on stage of the PS3 unveiling and everything changed. It became my favorite moment of human history.

My logic is actually using PS3 fan logic, who say exactly what you are jokingly referring to. Thing is thats a reality that PS3 fans only count the recent years of PS3 selling to prove a point. I then reuse that same logic for my sig.
