If Vita is dead, then that means Sony have stopped supporting it.  If Sony have stopped supporting it, then that means they'll be able to spend more resources supporting PS4.  Excellent news, thank you for pointing that out.

Dead....relative to the competition. Good news is that Sony will continue to pump resources into the Vita anyway.

That would be dying then.  Dead would be no support, and according to Argh_College it is dead.   So no more Sony support, full steam ahead with PS4.  

(Please realise I am joking about the situation and his wording if you plan on quoting me again.  Though I'd prefer it if you didn't).
