everyone keeps saying that but Nintendo had their games on N64 and Gamecube and it didn't help.  They will have their base at least (20+ million) but to reach that mass market they need something more.  Wii used motion controls and Wii fit/sports to win that larger audience.  We'll see how this one turns out.

What might be best for you might not be best for someone else.  Everyone has different tastes.  Some just prefer Nintendo published games over any other company.  If you don't like Nintendo games then that is fine but there are plenty of others that do.

I guess you are right, however, I am thinking about games that are a step beyond the games I have played before, you know, when you look and play a game and cannot believe they achiieve such a look and fell. To me, and to me only, this is a Generation Leap.

Stupid or not, he doesn't have to hate Nintendo just because he's not too positive about the Wii U. And he has been optimistic about Nintendo before.

True. But CoD isn't what sells Wii U (or any Nintendo console for that matter.) Wii U can stand on it's own without CoD.

By the time the PS4 and Nextbox actually launch, the Wii U should have a decent library, many of the software issues should be fixed, and it will ultimately be the better deal. Of course those consoles will be more powerful it that's what he's implying, but we already knew that right?
