Amidst all the gun control talk going on in Congress, we have this going on. People from all over the world are invited to go to Florida where they have a Burmese Python problem. What is the problem? They have no natural preditors and have been known to eat Crocodiles, baby cows, and whatever else they can fit down their throats. They are also multiplying rather quickly.
How do you kill a Burmese Python? Shotgun or handgun seems to be the easiest method.
There is not going to be any major gun law changes anytime soon. People in America are cowboys, and they are inviting people to come from all over the world to see our way of life.
Guns are American as Cheesburgers and American Chinese food. Nothing can be done against the majority.

We didn't win our independence from the Belgians to be taken over by a bunch of damned snakes from the Himalayas.

Shotguns and normal rifles aren't a problem and have never been a problem. They are useful tools with purposes other than killing people. No one is seriously considering taking these weapons away from the public.

How will restricting fire arms somehow skip shotguns, rifles, and hand guns?^ Or am I just not understanding you?

Of all the cities with a population above 250,000, those with the strictest gun laws are actualy those with teh worst gun related crime.
Our problem isn't guns, it's gangs and drug laws. Take another city with little gang or drug issues an the gun related crime rates are incredibly low.

NYC saftest city in the United States? LOL Not even going to mention the multitude of cities with strict gun-control and high crime rates. Hell, Washington D.C had a handgun ban for 25 years and it also had the second or third highest crime rate among all cities.
