NO ADJUSTMENTS THIS WEEK!!!

Not sure why you always have to scream in threads.

The same week in 2007, the Wii sold over 250,000 units. 95,000 came from Japan alone. 85,000 came from America. 56,000 came from Europe.

This Week the WiiU just did 52,000 units Worldwide.

The same Week in 2007, the Wii sold more in Europe alone than the WiiU has done Worldwide this Week.

People still think that it's about price, but it is and it will always be about games. I'm sure that if both PS4-720 were released at $600 at launch, they would sell much better than WiiU, because they will grab almost all multiplats of next GEN.

WiiU fails when it comes to hardcore gamers, that aren't convinced yet.

I think PS4 and 720 will do better as a whole, but expect them to do worse for their 1st year, no 3rd party company is going to ignore the 150 mil userbase of Ps3 and 360. Multiplats will be on ps3 and 360 as well and upscaled or something on 720 and PS4. They'll start moving to next-gen after a while, but 150 mil userbase is just too tempting to pass up on sales for the 1st 1 or 2 years.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Different times... Wii was cool back there but fitness and fance are dying right now in videogames... The next big thing has yet to come.

No one cares about Wii U the Console was send to death, compete agaisnt Ps3 and 360 ? What were they smoking ?

Inferior specs and graphics and games is another factor. People aint stupid.

When 720 and Ps4 roll around the userbase will be around 160m actually. thats alot of people to ignore.

I really don't think that numbers are that surprising. PS3 and X360 are ages old so of course they are dying. Vita is chasing the market that doesn't exists anymore. 3DS is doing relatively fine when you consider smartphone gaming boom and well Wii U actually has the same problem as Vita. New tablet controller didn't raise the interest of casuals like wiimote did and when it comes to graphics it hasn't shown yet anything that couldn't be done on old HD consoles so it doesn't appeal to hardcore audience either. Not to mention that generation transition phases are usually rather rough when it comes to sales (except for Wii and PS2). Market is going to decline next gen but only because Wii and DS hit all the right notes last gen and growth was rather unnatural.

What a sad sight. At least the Wii U can take the PSvita's spotlight now.
