45. Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon, 2000, Ang Lee

Also made my list but much higher.  I think its just as good as its meta score of 93/100 and truely dervered all the top ten lists it made back in 2000.

The order of my list after nr 12 is still changing daily. Yeah it could be much higher too.
After rewatching the dvd I've added the blu-ray on my to purchase list, great movie.

The beginning of The host is amazing. Rest of the movie is good too, but wow, that's how you start a monster movie.

Crouching Tiger is one of only a few Foreign Language films that I actually like. At this moment and whenever anyone ever asks me about Foreign language films it is the only one I can ever think of. Maybe Life is Beautiful?

I do not even like flying/fake martial art films like this movie had in it. It was a wonderful story. Great actors in it as well. I think most have went on to make great movies after this. Except for maybe the child star, but she had a few good movies afterwards.

Usually not a big fan of too much wire work either but Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon does it better then almost any other movie.  Also I hope someone will attempt to turn the other four books that make up the Crane Iron Pentalogy into movies someday.

The Host probably would have made my list if I watched it more then once.  Oldboy I only watched once also but its not really a movie that you want to watch a lot more then once anyway because of the disturbing plot point that gets revealed at the end.

My #46 is Hoop Dreams, probably the best documentary ever made. The movie follows two young students in Chicago who dream of playing basketball in the NBA. Originally the movie was meant to be much shorter, but the filmmakers realized there was a story worth telling, and chased it. The movie raises many questions about sports, education, class, race, and inner city life, but never imposes answers upon its audience. If it wasn't for another movie on my list, this would be the best film of the 90s.

I'm pretty sure I've seen old boy, must have surpressed it, I can't remember much of it. Should I watch it again or better leave it be :)

I've never seen the white buffalo, the plot lines sounds right up my alley. One to look out for. I haven't seen Hoop dreams either. 1 documentary I'm sad I ran out of room for is Buena vista social club. Truly heartwarming story.

My next spot is for a lighthearted family comedy. One of my wife's favorites and since it gets quoted around the house all the time it deserves a spot. I probably already give away to much with "... Prepare to die."

Keiner kann ihn bremsen, keiner macht ihm was vor. Immer der richtige Schuss, immer zur richtigen Zeit. Superfussball, Fairer Fussball. Er ist unser Torschützenkönig und Held.

ˇ@spurge JCVD is on my list with only one movie will be announced soon :))

there are much better movies then crouching tiger hidden dragon and thats the only reason it didnt make it my list beacuse i saw tons of them and this one seems to me more of a evolution then something new and original but if this was a top100 thread it probably would make it.

Time Cop, Kickboxer, Legionaiire, Until Death, Six Bullets, Maximum Risk, Cyborg, and In Hell could all make my list. I have an affinity for Knock Off as well for some reason.

Bloodsport is still my favorite Van Damme movie but none of his movies made my list.  Charles Bronson did make the list twice though.

and none of those make it in to my list cool hahaa
