Seriously. Sans stealth segments, the game would easily be top 50 material. With stealth segments? Blecch. There were only a few that didn't kill me at least five times or more, and never a one where it was possible to actually do it all stealth. Whoever i took down first would immediately lead to me getting caught in most cases, and then you just die, die, die.
Forums - Gaming Discussion - So am i the only one who hated the stealth segments of Arkham City?

Guys with guns. The game never gave me the word "predator" to describe whatever i was doing.
I liked the stealth parts fine. The rest of the game was the problem. Not bad or anything, but it just seemed like a mediocre sandbox game instead of the 3D Metroidvania Heaven that was Arkham Asylum. Bigger is not always better. (I thought that was something hatmoza always told me because of his small penis, but it turned out to be true.)

wait what?
the stealth was fine imo, I played the game in hardest difficutly, and died mostly to combat.
I think the game is a bit overrated though. Arkham asylum, was better (basically what Badgenome said).

you can't really mash in the hardest difficulty atleast if I remember.
It just takes guys forever to die and thus is a bit repetitive.

It's what the devs used to describe the gameplay in interviews. Also in the challenges I think they're refered to that, predator challenges and combat challenges.

I loved melee. Flowed beautifully, but also could be challenging without being cheap as fuck like the stealth segments.
The bosses, meanwhile, i found to be a little too easy

Oh I'm sure but it's just...boring. hit hit counter hit hit repeat. Melee is a HUGE part of the game and it's well done too but I dunno...after doing it for a while it got real boring. The stealth bits kept me going.
THE BEST part of the game for me are the NPC and side missions..no joke. For an open world game the traversal was boring too! glideeeeeeeeee..grapple and gliiide sigh people might disagree with me but imho the game was a solid game but overrated. If the main character wasn't batman but this was a new IP it would be judged much differently
