Price means nothing without killer apps.
Vita needs its PS4 counterpart.

Thats the last thing it needs! The PS4 will likely dominate (if the price is right) wen it comes out. Sony's focus would be on it, then wat will Vita have???

I think you are missing the point. Vita will likely be linked to ps4 in many ways. Sony isn't going to ignore vita because of ps4.

2things →→→1. Im not trying to say there forgeting vita but not giving it all the intention it needs. Like how wii U is out but we got no line up at least 1st semester and 3DS has a great lineup all year.→→→→2. I kno there might be some connectivity but really? 3DS will have connectivity with the Wii U soon and thats not their main focus. If Sony main focus is both working together it wont work, why? $$$. So much, the Vita is now at 4mil and likely not to pass 13mil by years end. If PS4 cost $400 and needs a vita that cost $200 then 1 game the total for just 1 player would be over $700. Not happening. Maybe as an extra feat but thats it.

[Edit]: if you mean like browsing the web and stuff like that i agree. Just dont copy Nintendo, cuz if theybdo NextXBox will win

It was bundled at the holidays in Canada with AC3 & a 4GB card for $200 and still didn't sell. The 3G model with two older games was also $200, and didn't sell. What price does it need to sell? $179 with a memory card may do it, but I just don't know if even that would do it.
It may be a powerful handheld & it may have enough good games to jump in, but I just don't know if there is a market for what it is.

Why does Sony have to drop the price for PSV? I still remember when Sony announced PSV's price back in E3 2011, everyone was pleased, excited and claimed "day-one" purchase.

In my opinion, no need to drop the price, but to give us more big games.

180 € and standard-sd-cards - never gonna buy any proprietary storage again.

PSV needs a price cut and more. Just cuz some fans can deal with the price doesn't mean everyone will. The games need to come out already, One of The best 2 titles to come out for handheld for Sonybis taken at least for now (MH4) and i dont kno if GTA is coming out this year, which i doubt it will.

It needs a big price-cut to go with a MAJOR game release. How about a $199 PS Vita w/ 4gb memory and GT Vita? A price cut alone won't help it as it was evidenced in black friday this holiday season.

ok here seriously no lie...

Vita~$149.99 with 16gig memory bundled with COD, AC liberation, or Uncharted GA!

To gain success? About $200. For me to be interested? At least $100, maybe less.
