Will Vita and 3DS make their Goals?

So even though the 3DS' prediction is 10 mil higher, we still think it'll get closer to it than the Vita.



TBH i was waitin on your HW sales prediction thread and i saw an average (in my head) of 6mil Vita and 15mil 3DS si i push to reasonable high predictions and came up with 8mil and 18mil! IMO i think its a good goal. They need to pass them, even though 3DS looks like it mightbcome closer to its goal than Vita as of now

its slow as of now but Vita aint doing to well! Maybe i should do percentage of completion? Yea im gonna do that now!

Expect those percentages to stay preeety low for a while :P

Yeap as of now 3DS is on track especially since its in the worse weeks of sales of the year, Vita on the other hand is not so good! 1½% in 3weeks of its 8mil goal while 3DS has 5% of its 18mil goal!

Vita has 1½% completion and 3DS has 5% of their goals in 3 weeks!

...That's not too bad for the 3DS actually!



This thread will be more interesting around E3! Anyway 3DS had a good 1st week! Thats why its at 5%! Fire Emblem and Brain Age should help! Also DQ VII for Japan! March has over 6 Titles! Good things to come! Wish i could say the same thing for Wii U but i cant!

After three weeks, the 3DS is up 0.9% YoY.  It needs to be up 28.6% to be on track.  If the days were aligned it would likely be down YoY seeing as three weeks started on Dec 30th for this year and Jan 1st for last year.  You can also see this in the numbers, the 3DS was only up the first week, and has been down for weeks two and three.

I think theres no chance of the Vita making it, without drastic measures from Sony.

The 3DS i dunno how much it has sold so far, but its likely to have sold alot. If it doesnt make the prediction it is probably an unrealistic one.

Vita is unpredictable as of now intill we see wat sony does with it(price cut, price drop memory, software lineup). Now 3DS had close to 14mil last year. Everyone believes 3DS will do better this year. In reality it will dominate this year. Its Software lineup is massively huge backed up with SM3DL, NSMB2, MK7. It comes of no suprise this year 3DS will do extremely well. Dont 4get Japan alone gets DQ VII, MH4! Thats system sellers there. Pokemon WW will take over Holiday! Believe it!

No doubt on my mind that the 3DS is gonna be the system to have this year. Lots of quality and widely appealing games coming out for it.

Thats fine its only the first 3 weeks, MK7 and SM3DL was new at that time. We got nothing yet. When Feb and Especially end of March you'll see a huge difference!
