If Nextbox & PS4 give Nintendo any more than a year - this gen is over before it even starts.

WiiU has difficult to grab most multiplats of this gen currently, it you look as the multiplats coming this year, most of them won't appear on WiiU. Based on it, both Sony and MS can have a good 2013 without worrying about WiiU when it comes to 3rd party support.

All currently available consoles are competing for consumer dollars and mindshare, whether it be PS3, 360, Wii and/or the WiiU, just like how the average consumer walks into a Walmart, Gamestop, Target, etc... and thinks "Why would I get a Vita or 3DS when I already have games on my iPhone/Android?"

Not everyone has unlimited funds and must make these choices, so no, right now the WiiU is not dominating the competition.

It isn't that when the PS4 and/or 720 arrive the WiiU magically just earned competition. All that will mean is that new competition entered the marketplace.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

LOLWTF XD

I can't believe anyone is arguing this when A) the PS3 caught up with the Xbox despite coming out a year later and B) the Wii outsold both despite coming out last. Hell, almost every generation has examples of systems coming out earlier and getting their shit rocked. Unless the Atari Jaguar and Dreamcast were ridiculously undertracked.

You just have to look over the casuals and first gen gamers that do not understand how generations work. In most cases these people are just complete morons who only folllow one company. Their opinions dont change facts no matter how much they try to push it on everyone.

The Wii beat the PS3 in every way that matters kids. Everything else is just fanboy denial.
The Wii U is an 8th generation console. Anything else is again fanboy denial.

I wonder how Sony fanboys feel about Wii U passing Vita in sales in only two months yet they call Wii U a failure and Vita a success...

WiiU won't pass Vita anytime soon

By August 2013 it should have done it if the sales for both consoles don't drop even further
