everything about this game spells GENERIC... the only reason its hyped its cause its for PS3

 What is that supposed to mean, look at games like No More Heroes and Zack & Wiki they were being hyped because they were on Wii. 

But Haze???? I'd say it's not hyped because it's on PS3.

Z&W and No More Heroes are very specific games that have proven themselves to be very fun. But haze? I mean, what does this game have that other fps games don't?

I think they're jealous of the Duke Nukem Forever record andhave decided that with just a few more delays...

EGM played a near final build and they said it was solid. It would probably have a better chance in this year's holiday season over last year's.

It's hyped because so many of the multiplatform FPS games capable of split-screen play on the 360 came out with the split-screen play missing on the PS3. Don't know why it got dropped on the other titles, but Haze is supposed to allow 4-player split-screen. Could it be that this is something really difficult to do on the PS3? If not, why did other titles, such as COD3, drop it from the PS3 version?

What's the exclusivity status on this game? Are there any contracts in place? I was wondering if they might want to release on more platforms simultaneously.
