When the delayed it for january I had it pre-ordered an amazon wanted me to update my order but I cancelled it. I just thinking yesterday should I re-pre-order the game and then this news comes out.

Yeah, I definitely agree. Something seriously wrong must've occurred suddenly or this game was never very good to begin with. I've loved Free Radical's other games last generation, but I also liked Factor 5's stuff on the GC as well. Does the development of this game remind anyone else of Lair?

Maybe Sony wised up to SSBB and MK Wii and Wii Fit coming out in the next four to six months, and figured they'd let MGS4 try to fend them off, while focusing on the second half of the year with their games, where, right now, there's nothing coming for the Wii in the second half of the year.

Sony needs to start worrying more about Microsoft and less about Nintendo.

Nintendo is off in their own little gaming dimension, rolling in money a la Scrooge McDuck.

Besides, if delays were planned, they wouldn't have wasted tens of thousands (possibly even hundreds of thousands) on print advertisement.

I'm not saying that it wasn't planned, but what I'm saying is that maybe the game may have JUST made it's March release, but they decided to tweak it some, and have it come out at the end of the year, I'm sure it wasn't planned in a meeting to delay it, but I'm sure it will help the game in the long run...

Also, I didn't mention MS because there's really nothing coming out for that during this year that's really remarkable.

Thats what i was thinking... Why do Sony have to worry about MS when there is nothing remarkable coming from them this year... (that we know of anyway)

I'm actually happy cause I wont be able to play for the second half of may and the first half of June,and I'll barely be able to play before then. However, after that it is all clear, so the more games coming out then the better for me

Pushing this back again is the worst thing for them to do IMO as it will easily get lost in the pack of games hitting mid to late year. Not too many people are going to pick up an unproven shooter over the highly respected franchise sequels coming out soon.

is pushing this game back really that bad?? .. on their report ubisoft basically reaffirmed that vegas 2 is coming out in march.. so that should fill the 1st persron shooter void for most..... and that is also 4 player co- op...

maybe im taking this so well because i expected it as i told alot of you months ago .http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?start=0&id=13161.. i knew ubisoft would not release vegas 2 and haze a week from each other thats not a smart business move...
