I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is a huge fan of board and table-top gaming, who else would love to see a board game section on the forums?

I've been playing board games a lot lately, but you can probably just toss them in gaming forum in general.

But then the topics get lost with all the video gaming topics.

If there was a board game section, it would only consist of two participators.

It would almost be like real board games, awesome!

I think we could have a board games thread where everyone could talk about their favorite board games or new discoveries. A whole forum section seems a bit much.

I always get annoyed with the huge 10 page official x threads. Sometimes I want to talk about a specific game or bring up a specific topic and it's so easily lost in a 10 page thread.

Also, if I see a 10+ page thread that I'm not already a part of, I'm not going to enter it because I really don't want to read through 10 pages to get caught up.

I'm in favour of that. A separate section would make it a lot easier to discuss board/table-top/role-playing games and while it probably won't be the busiest section around here I doubt it will be anywhere close to dead.

I am not sure, how frequently do they come up?

Personally, I rarely play since it is a pain to get 4+ people together, though we managed to play the Battlestar Galactica boardgame most weeks for a couple of terms last year. It is a great game by the way, for a BSG fan or not
