360 owners love digital. PS3 owners are still in the "RETAIL EXCLISIF!!!" mindset. Dinosaur thinking from where im standing. Only after Jounrey getting awards is their faction finally seeing the importance of the emerging digital game space.

I'm a PS3 owner and I love digital. I hate having to use discs.

The your a pioneer. I salute you

Meh even if it does happen we all know 360 million sellers are at a way higher total number then PS3s.

We dont know XBLA vs PSN total numbers, but its common sense that 360 gamers love XBLA way more then PS3 gamers love PSN.I mean, Minecraft is a year old multiplat port and it broke 5 million in 2012. Journey hasn't even breached 1 million (no PR announcement).

No PSN gets a pr announcement for any kind of milestone. There are probably 5 PS1 Classsics alone that breached 1m. Expect a few PS2 Classics to also sell millions, like GTA San Andreas.

PS1 and PS2 classics is treated differently. Im talking PSN games made for PS3, like Journey.

Why should it? Its a digital game thats not current gen retail, so why shouldn't it be added to PSN just like old Xbox games are counted on XBLA? Really none of them ever mattered. The most accurate sales we have to go off of are retail. XBLA was just added as an excuse to remedy Micorsofts lack luster first party post 2008.

Its in the name.....PS1 and PS2 classics. XBLA games that happen to be older gen games are altered for 360, even just getting achievement and HD support makes it a 360 title. I go by XBLA and PS3 catered PSN games.

XBLA was around since 2005 buddy, and I think 2010 was a great year for 360 retail games.

No need for double standards just because PS digital files still matter. PSN didnt have to be around since 2005 to have their games not being considered PSN exclusives.

I know your persona downplays downloadable games, but their relevance has only increased throughout the years. Being retail centric in this day and age just means your behind the times.

Again, as I said when the 360 was on top with exclusives from 2005-2008 no one was boasting about XBLA. XBLA became the biggest thing on the planet once Sony's exclusives started picking up and everyone noticed Microsofts in house offerings were shrinking. My persona doesn't downplay downloadable games, when we're looking at the prime offerings on a commercial level XBLA and PSN are both secondary. Trust me, I've gone through all the arguments even with PS3 fanboys back in 2008 and back then at least Microsoft had stable third party exclusives, but once Sony gained proper marketshare the exclusivity was over and Microsoft had to fend for themselves. This is when Sony's IP's started taking over and XBLA was the next big thing to talk about.

Wrong, retail just outshined XBLA in that time.

Again, im telling you digital games was completely different then then it is now. It really just took off in the last 4 years and MS is adapting to the trends. I don't know how to make it any simpler then that.

Look at the bold, you just made my point for me. I'll be back later.

Ugh....my second point reinforces that times change. Retail was just dominant at the time. You didn't get that at all. Your stuck in the past.

Already wrote in a Global Sales thread that a few 360 games have been robbed their European sales.

Add to the 360 list:

Project Gotham Racing 3
Dead or Alive 4
Perfect Dark Zero
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
Ace Combat 6
Splinter Cell Double Agent

And possibly but not 100% confirmed Lego Star Wars II

I think this is the most important post in the thread so far, if this is remedied, then I'm sure the situation with million sellers would be different.

^^^^^^ What those games all used to be million sellers. Not cool vgchartz

Probably isnt a reliable source, besides we have sales numbers straight from a companies mouth about Minecraft and many more.
