Badly misplaced. Well, in that it exists.

Likely i'd be more merciful if i hadn't spent all day yesterday arguing over EA's obstinance.

That's got nothing to do with the grade of hair on a goose's ass and you know it.

Now you've lost me.

Konami really has no idea what it's doing. Hasn't for a while. If it weren't for Kojima and Yu-Gi-Oh, they'd be in the rubbish bin of history by now.

Is this supposed to be a joke

Nintendo fan-rage.

Are you still somewhat hopeful the Wii U won´t be 'another Wii' when it comes to 3rd party support?

Yes, sadly enough. I expected third parties wanted money, not un-money.

If the Wii U turns out to be 'another Wii' for 3rd party games, then it´ll be the 4th Nintendo home console that lacks quality 3rd party support, the last one was the SNES.I´ll tell you this, it´ll take Sony and MS leaving for us to even entertain the possibility of a Nintendo home console getting 3rd party love like the pre N64 period.

I wonder if it´ll only get worse once we start seeing 3rd party multiplatform games for PS4/NextXbox.

There is always a silver lining on the horizon: Things can't get much worse from here on out.

Well, yeah :)

Though, releasing GTA V on the Wii U would go a long way in restoring a bit of a hope...or maybe not.

Its sad to hear this from Konami...Its even more sad to here how much people joyfully bash Nintendo once again ...
I don't know about you but its time like this that I wish people just play games and be entertained rather than bash other games...

As for me, I will support Nintendo... They are trying hardly to bring back third party companies and this is remarkable...Not every company would spend money only to get more third party games on their system...
Thanks Nintendo! You have here a proud Nintendo fan!

Nintendo fans need to wake up and realise their console sucks

People are all like "Oh Konami is shafting Nintendo bloo bloo"

That isn't what's happening, here.

This game is not being developed internally by Konami. It is being developed by Mercurysteam. It began development in 2010 or 2011, before the Wii U specs were really out there for small developers like this one. Mercurysteam was given a certain budget and told to make the game within the confines of that budget. They (Mercurysteam) made a list of things they wanted in it. One of those was a PC version. They cut out some things so that it would fit the budget. Putting it on more platforms would require removing features in order to fit the budget.

Video game development is not that cut and dry, and neither is the publisher/developer relationship.

Wait... so you mean that Konami doesn't just hit a magical Wii U button and the game gets instantly ported regardless of when it started development?  Because that's the impression I got from everyone else's posts.

That's a shame

dunno if anyone made a thread here for it but Crytek confirmed that Crysis won't be coming to wiiu as well

They don't want to spend money on creating gameplay on the Wii U gamepad, the Wii U install base is too small right now and also 3rd party ports on Wii U have sold very badly.
