Forums - Sony Discussion - What condition are your Sony consoles in?

My PS1 would have been mint, but there are a few scratches on the top lid.

My PS2 has a few scratches, here and there.
My PS3 is covered in micro scratches, because of the glossy material it is made up of. If the material was made up of glass, it would never scratch. It could crack, if abused, but not scratch.
My PSP has a few, really light scratches on the screen, and a few on the metal ring, on the back.

There is nothing worse, than scratches. They are so irretating, and no matter what you do, you can't reverse the damage. Once a new one shows up, it is there forever! Man... I hate them so much!!

Anyways, what condition are your Sony consoles in?

Only company? You have a console from Atari, Bandai, Mattel, Coleco, Fujitsu, Apple, NEC, SNK, Phillips, Panasonic, and Tiger Telematics? Perhaps, Sony is the only "living" gaming company, you have missed! Never-the-less, go buy a PS1 right now for $10, and play what you have missed, starting from 1996! Man, you have so much to catch up on! Start with Final Fantasy 7, and then work your way up!

PS1: Gave to charity a long time ago
PS2: Never owned
PSP: Never owned
PS3: Looking good, never have to touch it since I can turn it on/off with a controller, and pop discs in without touching anything

I don't know... Shine it up again the brightest light, and look at it, even under a microscope, if you must, and you will see trillions of micro scratches! Just unboxing the Playstation 3, will leave scratches. Blowing on it will scratch it. The mere impact of dust, when it settles down, onto the Playstation 3, will leave scratches. The Playstation 3 is practically 30 iPod Nanos, duct-taped together, because anything will scratch it.

PS1: Top doesn't open automatically, didn't when i got it though. Gave it to a friend, don't know anymore.

PS2 1: Broken
PS2 2: Broken on arivial
PS2 Slim: Still working fine.

If you did buy a PS3, it would also serve to replace your broken PS1, and PS2.

my launch ps1,ps2,and ps3 are all mint

The ps1 and ps3 are hooked up while the ps2 has to sit in the closet cause it's BIG brother is better at it's job

the ps1 still going since september 1995
