Forums - Sony Discussion - What the f*** is Ni No Kuni?

Hey!

So people talk about this game A LOT here, dafuq is it? Should I get it as in do you think I will like it?

If you could describe it in one word what would it be?

And what other game is similar in terms of genre?

What do you do in the game?

TELL ME EVERYTHING

Also: Kuni means "boy who gives ass" in persian (insult basically).

Ni means two.  No is a particle to give attribute to a noun, I believe.  Kuni means Country.

It's apparently a really good game, my brother's wife suggested I get it (she's Japanese).

One of the best looking games ever that should totally be a Nintendo exclusive. (Yeah, I'm jealous, what of it?!)

Anywho... It's made by the people who did Totoro, Spirited Away, etc. Aka, Studio Ghibli. It's a cell-shaded looking game that's based off of the original title on the DS.

Edit: Forgot Level 5. It's made by them too.

It's a PS3 home console exclusive.

What else do you need to know?

True and not true.  The game has a DS version.  They may be different, but their differences aren't large enough to not mention the DS version, which is NOT region-locked.

Literally it means Two Countries.

You can get the DS version in ENglish?
