Hi guys, I have a few WiiU related question can anyone help me?

1) I can connect my WiiU to the internet, going in website - post on the MiiVerse but I cannot set up anything on my friend list liek setting up recevie or send requests.

Similar problem happened during the game play of ZombieU I cannot read online comment but yes comment of NSMBU! WEIRD!!!!

I called Nintendo but I have not hear dback form them yet!!! 2 weeks still waiting! (Error 103-2001)

2) How can I expande my wiiUhard drive memory? WHat is a self powered external hard drive? and Where I can find one cheap I say around 1Terabyte memory?

1. I am not sure, but it may be a problem with your router. I dont have a wii u so i do not know, but for the 360 and ps3 sometimes you have to open ports on your router for it to communicate correctly with nintendo online.

Think it is the part where you have to set up your profile first:

press the home menu and then click on the friends list icon(far left), if it tells you to setup your profile first that's what you have to do

uhm, you will need a hard-drive with an external power chord or 'dual' USB chords.
not sure how to explain.. but it is usually an extra usb cable that plugs in a 'power' (round) slot on the drive + you have the regular USB contact too.
If you have a physical computer-store that you can go to they can help you get one. just be precise about that it has to have a separate power cable (will not work otherwise)

Hi thanks but I cannot click on the friend list icon as the error is in there. I was never able to enter my friend list. I did set up my profile same as the video....

1) You're likely having a router setting issue. However, in Miiverse you may need to go to the profile and check all settings.

2) Yeah, any USB router that either has the Y-connecter (can even buy that separately) or its own separate power cord will work. But honestly, unless you're gonna start buying all game digitally, you can wait on that. First priority will be your router issue. My buddy had an old router from his cable/internet company... wouldn't work right. He just went out and bought a new router and gave the other one back to the company (saves monthly rental fee anyways). Now the WiiU is perfectly fine.

Heard that it is usually DNS issues that prevent the wiiU from working ok.

If you can enter that manually you can point it to googles DNS servers, IP:

8.8.8.8 and/or
8.8.4.4

try that and see if it works better.
no idea how to set the manual IP setttings etc. on the wiiU though
