This is a sales site so sales (like PS3 outselling Xbox 360) will be talked about.  And at some point, the Xbox 360 was outselling the PS3 with PS3 supporters being demonized by both Xbox 360 and Wii users.  So just have the balls to say that the system brand you are referring to is the PS3 allegedly being held in such high regards and "others" are in regards to the Xbox 360.  And if you truely want to be enlightened, you have to make that choice by not acting like the victim of an Xbox 360 owner/supporter when the PS3 has done remarkable well this gen given the competition it's up againt and Sony's earlier missteps.  And if you want to live in harmony next gen, start now this gen.  PS3 = awesome gamingness.  It just is regardless where its sales end up at the end of its lifetime.

This quote right here is just not right.i am a 360 fan and i always knew the ps3 would eventually overtake the 360 in the end but no-one knew/expected it to take this longgggggggg,so in reality when it does overtake the 360 it won,t be such of a bang like when you pop a balloon but more like when you let the air slowly out.

That's fine, you're not the vocal minority i was talking about, if only all the people causing problems in threads like this posted in a more reasonable manner like yourself then their wouldn't be a problem.

The 360 had a 1-year head start on the PS3, and a cheaper launch model... yet the PS3 is still going to overtake the 360, it doesn't matter if it's now or 2 years ago, fact of the matter is it's still going to happen and the 360 will be the 3rd place in this current Gen.

But obviously 360 fans will pretend like it doesn't matter *cough*sales2099*cough* and pretend like they aren't phased by it.

Just face it, your precious console that you've been defending ever since the PS3 was released is about to be overtaken by another console which was freakin' expensive on launch (£425!) and even had a poor launch title selection... butt-hurt much?

The funniest thing is people saying it doesn't matter, it isn't even worth discussing, while being the ones that discuss it the most!
Anyway, gaming PC sales (~30% of total PC sales if including even the most casual gamers, ~10% including only more assiduous ones) still growing and outselling lifetime every console ever made.

You do realize that internet commentators are but a vocal minority in the generall mass of Wii/PS3/360. If anything it only proves the vocal minority PS3 fanatics care.

What you are saying isn't a fact at all, it's just your opinion and pathetic spin. And what makes it even more funny is when all 3 consoles were actually out the PS3 outsold the Xbox360 in 5 out of 7 of those years, which is soon to become 6 out of 8 years in 2013.

if the PS3 outsold the Xbox360 it would be the biggest most EPIC comeback in videogame history a console that came out a year later with 600$ pricetag outsells a console that has the US market by the balls......Just shows how much powerfull the PlayStation brand is.

Sure, but this aint no cinderella story. PS3 doesnt come from a broken home...it came from the most important family/biggest mansion in gaming. 360 is more of a scrappy underdog, not having europe and japan on its side. 

Thats what dampens this IMO.

Are you kidding me the USA is the most important market in the world who ever wins that market wins the war but Sony proved them wrong.

And BTW the only reason the 360 is where its at was because of the ps3's VEEEERY HIGH price when it launched they all had the same games and ps3 didnt have any exclusives that's why the 360 sold so much.Remember when the PS3 got a 299$((360 was 299$ also)) price cut in 2009 it kicked ass it was soldout all over the world.
