Yes, a bet, a wager. Why? I dunno, something to do with the 3DS selling over 20 million; if you're that confident



The one im most confident is the vita! Im only 30% sure for 3DS! So I cant cuz i might lose lol!!! I think it'll hit my number and what im hopeing for is pokemon gen 6 in japan and a WW release at holiday! It also has to have either a Zelda/DK/3D Mario game by 2013! I'll only do the bet if these do happen!!!

Isn't the point of a bet uncertainty? It wouldn't be worth it if you were. I've made bets where I've been incredibly uncertain, yet won. Who knows!

And if you arent certain, why predict so high?



Srry for misinterpretation! I meant i really think it'll sell around 16mil! butttttt...... If pokemon gen 6 comes out and a big ip from nintendo then yes over 20mil! Im going wit my bet because im hoping these games will release! I can go with 16mil but I believe Nintendo wont let us down! But im also kinda certain (but hope it isn't true) if gen 6 comes it will only release In Japan! (like all pre installments)! BW2 (pokemon) Released sameyear this year and thats wat im countin on this year >_<

If you are 30% sure, then why do you think that the 3DS will sell so much? On that topic, I do believe that the 3DS can sell so much, however the chances of that are quite low, maybe 10%. I chose to take minumum sales of what the 3DS can make during this year.



Only if Ninty can do it correctly! (released the big games) then it can have a shot!!! DS in its third year did incredibly well, im also bettin on 3DS!

The total HW overall is wrong, however, the total for the year is right.  If you subtract the total overall HW from Dec 15th from the total at the beginning of the year you get 10,519,903 for the PS3.  Add in last weeks numbers and you get 11,289,348.  There's also only one more week data for '12 (I believe the 30th and 31st will be rolled into '13's data), so the PS3 may just miss 12M.

Oh, and LOL at Metallicube's 360/PS3 prediction.

Fine but only when i hear an announcement for pokemon 1st ok! They say big news coming in either this month or the next! Sound good??? I'll bet if its true of gen 6 this year!!!

You're right, that's pretty messed up. Why is there such a discrepancy? This would change the whole ballgame for me!

I don't know.  You would think that would be an automatic thing that happens once you punch in the new yearly total.  Oh well, I'm sure they will fix it, eventually.
