Portable SNES Might Be Better Than Nintendo's 3DS

If you're taking a road trip anytime in the next rest-of-your-life, you need one of these portable SNES systems.

Check out these shots of a portable SNES system that one crafty Reddit user put together.

now they just need to design pants with big pockets!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Better at what? Being big and clunky? Oh man, can't wait to play Star Fox SNES on the go... except that I could just play 64 3D, a much better game, on 3DS.

Oh but wait, SNES has Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy... so does 3DS, thanks to backwards compatibility with DS games.

Super Mario World & Yoshi's Island? NSMB, NSMB2, 3D Land, Land 1 & 2, Wario Land, SM64DS, SMB, Lost Levels, SMB3 soon...

Super Mario RPG? Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time / Bowser's Inside Story, Paper Mario: Sticker Star...

A Link to the Past? Is that the only Zelda game on SNES? 3DS already has Ocarina of Time 3D, Link's Awakening, Zelda 1 & 2, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, plus Four Swords Anniversary Edition and The Minish Cap if you were quick to pick one up.

Anything SNES can do, 3DS can do better.

That thing is a monstrosity!

I'd rather have this...

I already have a portable SNES, it's called a PSP.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Well, that's useless. the_dengle pretty much already said everything, but I'd like to add that the 3DS actually does Yoshi's Island, through the Ambassador Program, so that one can also be crossed off the list .

how is that better than the 3ds? I love my SNES but jesus that thing is a monstrosity compared to just having a hacked psp with Zsnes on it or indeed the 3ds which has most of the games from the SNES in some form or other, mostly other being superior sequels or remakes of sequels.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
