This is anecdotal evidence, but pretty much every forum I've been to has been dominated by Sony or Nintendo, while most of the gaming news sites I've visited have been swarmed by Microsoft fans. If this is an actual trend, then perhaps Microsoft fans are not as ... verbose in general? They prefer shorter replies with less words and more numbers in place of letters?

I also know a lot more Xbox owners who are relatively casual in that they don't play much outside of CoD or Madden, though that could be because it's the primary choice for that kind of game here in the US.

I think it's time for everyone to just finally admit that PS3 was the better console.

That's why things are the way they are.

This type of comment is a great way of looking dumb(Unless you are joking).  What makes either one of them better than the other?  So Xbox fans like shooters more.  I don't see why that is a big deal.  It's kind of like saying PS3 fans like JRPG's more.  Shooters are not better than JRPG's and JRPG's are not better than shooters. It's simple preferences.  XBOX and PS3 has both done great this generation whether you want to admit that or not.

MS has had the least presence of the big 3 for as long as I can remember. Even when PS3 was getting its ass whipped. But there is a new console coming soon, so maybe? I dont see the big idea, if 360 people are afraid to hang because they are fewer in number, well then so be it, that portion will never grow.

I know you're doing the "in thing" by acting  all post modern, but just give it up will you.

Given a sample space of 10 000 serious gamers (and don't even try and debate the term), which percentage would rather be stuck on an island with a 360 and any 25 games than a PS3?

Yeah, thought so.

And Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wasn't better than 2 Pac. They were just different.

In fact I've been losing nearly everybody since I joined. Once I get unbanned I'll have to go back to making everything so super fucking clear to everyone.

It's a hard life.
