Forums - Sales Discussion - Where do you buy your games?

I'm always curious where people buy their games.  For instance -

I got my Wii at Best Buy.

I got my GC and Genesis at Gamestop/Funcoland (back in the day)

I got my N64 & Dreamcast at Toys R US.

I got Mario 64 at Funcoland (for $100!)

I got my DS at Walmart

etc, etc.

However, I've never bought anything from either Kmart or Sears that was videogame related.  Never get game stuff from Target either.  So my question to you - where do you buy all of your games?

I usually go to Best Buy or Target for games. I got my Wii at Toys r us.

Don't remember where the SNES came from.  I got my 64 at Toys R Us, I remember that specifically as it was obviously the same price everywhere but TRU had a special gold controller with it so I bought it for that.

I bought my Wii at a Target at launch. Was planning on Best Buy but the line was already like 15-20 deep when I got there an hour after close and the Target across the street only had like 4 other kids in it so I just went there and froze my ass off over night.  Luckily there was a Steak and Shake 24/7 located in the parking lot so I could go there for some warmth every now and then since we were cool enough to save our spots in line.

Games are a mix. Usually Gamestop/EB games. However I did buy RE4 at Circuit City when a friend worked there and when I worked at Blockbuster and we got in GH3 for Wii I picked it up there so I could save a few bucks with the employee discount.

Got my ds at target, my wii at wal-mart
Usually buy games at gamestop

Target is the best place to get hot games. Why? Cause people never seem to go there for game stuff. At least my Target anyway.

Oh I think I've bought some games from F.Y.E. as well.  Its strange to think about where you buy stuff.

I bought my PS3 from gamestation but I generally get my games online at gameplay. Games come a day before release normally, and they're usually £10-£15 cheaper than in store.

I bought my Xbox 360 from Best Buy.

I bought my PS3 from EBGames.

I bought my PSP, PS2, and PSP Slim and lite from Best Buy, I try to stay away from the glorified pawn shop that is GS, but I buy games from there sometimes.

I watch BestBuy, Wal-Mart, and EBGames for the best deals...

I always get my consoles at BestBuy or Wal-Mart though...

I buy all games that have average 8/10 and higer ratings the week they release because BestBuy in Canada reduces the price for the week by $10. If it is higher then 6 but below 8 I wait until someone has it on for $30, and if it rates below that, I wait for it to appear at EBGames used section for less then $10.
