The series looks set to evolve further

What? Pokémon is evolving!

The year 2012 saw Pokémon Black and White Version 2 released to great fanfare across the globe and it appears Game Freak, the game's developer, already has plans for the series in 2013.

In a New Year greetings card posted in Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream, the developer has reportedly told everyone it intends to work towards evolving the Pokémon world in the year 2013.

Details are incredibly scarce at the moment but this news will no doubt spark a whole lot of speculation. Could Pokémon be making another move into the home console market with Wii U? Perhaps the main series will grace the two screens of the 3DS with a different visual style? We're looking forward to finding out which direction the series will be taking next.

It's about damn time! I been wanting them to try it in some that it doesn't feel like the same game. Doesn't mean I hate pokemon I just wanted them to change in some way.
