Atelier Totori Plus was released in Japan in November 29, 2012. Just recently, an online Japanese retailer, 7Net, accidentally leaked what could be Atelier Meruru Plus. If true, the game is slated to release in March 20, 2013, in Japan. Like Atelier Totori Plus, this game will have a bunch of extra content such as costumes and additional bosses. The most interesting part, though, is that Atelier Meruru Plus will have some connectivity with the previous game. Supposedly, if you have save data from Totori Plus, Totori will have more strength and costumes.

This tells me that NISA was still happy with how Totori Plus sold. Good news for them.

I hope these games releases in english for Vita, they are not system sellers but they are solid and very good games too.

I really hope they come out in english. Gives me an incentive to trade in my sealed copy of Totori.

Yeah, as MRKs pointed out, it's already been confirmed.

I'd be really interested to see if these came to the west. On the one hand, Atelier is already quite a small franchise and Vita install base is even smaller (and made up of a lot of PS3 owners). On the other hand, the localisation for the game has already been done so it would literally just be a make-a-tweak-or-two-then-release-it job.

I hope they do come out. I'd much rather play games like Atelier on a handheld than on a home console.

@ Outlawauron, I wouldn't necessarily say that this is confirmation of good sales in Japan. I mean, they've clearly been developed very close to each other, this project was probably started well before Totori was released.

Then again, it's a PS3 -> Vita job of a very niche franchise anyway, I'm sure they wouldn't have to sell that many to make it worthwhile. Will be interesting to follow anyway. Team Ninja are bringing Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus across after the first only sold ~ 100k copies, so perhaps Vita porting really is as easy as it's made out to be.

You could also take it that there are indeed a lot of people downloading games off PSN.

we do know that vita games sell at least on par with ps3 games on psn.

on the ps blog (eu) they once said that 6 of the top 10 selling vita games on psn would make into the ps3 top ten.

When will they do an Atelier Rorona remake on Vita, that's the right thing to do!
