I just bought a Sony NEX-F3 camera. Charging now :D. I'm probably gonna go grab the Playstation T.V. which is on sale for 100 bucks today. Xperia Play phone, 2 PS3s, PSP, Vita, 2 PS2s, PSX. I just need a Sony T.V. for my game setup and I'm good. Too bad their tablets are less than stellar or else I'd buy one of those too.

nobody hates SONY, it is just not selling well. Consoles wise, VITA does not has the games, that is all. And besides that it was a bad strategy to upgrade so much from PSP to VITA. Look at the 3DS, I think it is safely to say it is just 1/2 of the technology the VITA has , but it is slling more, why: easy and cheaper to develop games, cheaper to the user, something that define the console (2 screens). SONY is a good brand but it is not handling well tecnology, they are forcing themselves to be the greatest, when all they have to worry now is survive and become profitable, once that start to spend money in new tecnologies, step by step.

that's alot of Sony in one house

I had a Sony Clie. This one:

Was the first expensive thing I owned. That thing was so cool. That was before anyone had a smartphone. Was a boss with it at school.

we barely have anything Sony ate home except for two PS1 (one broken) and one PS2 and a couple of old mobiles other than that everything brakes

I'll buy another Playstation product once they update that controller, I personally cannot stand it, even though I like their games from a software perspective.

you know company make adapters that will let you use and xbox controller right and I'm sure ones will come out that let you use the WiiU pro controller. There's options out there, but still the DS is the best controller ever made.

Why buy Sony electronics when you can get the same quality in Samsung at a much lower price? At the end you buy what makes you happy. That's the reason beside some gaming, movies and musics I avoid Sony products.

I get tired of hearing samsung has the same quality at a lower price. Everything samsung I've ever owned has broken. Luckily this samsung TV i had broke during warranty and would trade back into a Sony in a heart beat. This is the second samsung TV I've owned, the first on broke just 3 months out side of the warranty. I had a samsung 4g mobile hot spot that was sketchy at best, kept dropping devices when ever it felt the need and then the battery got bloated and exploded. I have yet to have a Sony product break on me, plus Sony stuff isn't that much more expensive than a samsung device. Sony is a better quality hands down.

While I've really started to lose my affinity for their non-gaming products, I have to agree on two points:

1) Their phones are really looking hot

2) PSVita is an AMAZING handheld.

Got myself a laptop over black friday. Was looking into Asus or Vaio. Was leaning more towards Asus cuz of the price but got a nice deal on a vaio from a random store online lol. FANTASTIC device. Beautiful screen, runs smooth, stays cool etc

ps: I'm thinking of getting a pulse too. Will see. Been hearing nothing but praise for that one. And I look forward to their CLED tvs in the future.

Damn it if I haven't bought so much Sony stuff recently and I'm loving it. Here it is:

I have a PlayStation 3D Display. Excellent monitor. 24", does active 3D, 2 HDMI outs. I have a PS3 hooked up to it, play it at a desk in a computer chair. Like PC gaming again. Any PC gamer should opt for it as it is super cheap right now ($100-$179), if you have a PS3 even better considering 3D games available. The PlayStation glasses, while a little tight and not enough light blinders, are big enough to cover your vision and have simulview technology. Simulview is okay on a 24", if on a bigger TV, really nice for local multiplayer. Will buy a tower with HDMI out.

I was considering buying one of these after seeing the price had fallen to $99 but the bad word of mouth about them is making me weary (flickering and other issues).  I've also heard it doesn't come with a remote which seems pretty strange considering they're selling it as a TV and that most of the controls are in the back, is that true?

Here is the thread I looked at which basically made me have second thoughts:

http://forums.redflagdeals.com/bb-fs-playstation-24-3d-led-display-bundle-99-a-1277190/

"Being $100 doesn't fix the terrible glare and the random flashes of a blank/black screen.
It should have been recalled because there is something wrong with the hardware"

"For 99 it might be worth just to try and see if you get a working one. But it's definitely not a quality product from what everyone's been writing. Worst case you return it. No harm. "

"I have purchased this thing once during last boxing day when it was $249.99 and again during Black Friday when it was $149.99. I tried the unit and returned it both times. For $100, it's a pretty good deal as long as it works. I am not getting it a third time."

I was really worried about that too. Products don't just drop crazy in price for no reason right? Plenty of faulty reports but no recalls. Perhaps it was first batch? Perhaps it was user error? (bad HDMI cords, radio wave interference, mishandeling) Perhpas too many Sony haters at the moment? Maybe I just got lucky?

Mine is in great shape, while I admit I saw two flickers back to back randomly one day while starting a game, it might have been from my cell phone being right next to it. The thing is not a TV and does not have a remote, the buttons are on the bottom right just behind the edge. There aren't many options so you won't need to adjust them often, maybe volume because of audio level changes from different medias. It comes with Motorstorm apocolypse and one pair of glasses. If you need another pair, get the Playstation 3D glasses or find some other active 3D glasses that use simulview or you won't be able to use that feature.

If you get it, keep the receipt handy. The warranty is for a year too I believe and most instances happened in a couple months. For a 3D PS3 and computer monitor, it is almost worth the original price and now a total steal.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
