The day they (Google, YouTube, whoever) fixed YouTube via Wii U's Internet Browser (Can play and watch YT videos again) is also the day they disabled embedded YT videos. Now, you can't play embedded videos on sites like here on vgchartz. Here's a embed video (Try on Wii U browser)





It either has a blank screen with no play button or a thumbnail with a play button on the middle, but it won't play as if you're just clicking on a photo.

Wii U's Internet Browser is internet done right on a console, but with this limitations of YouTube not allowing; not be able to be watched anywhere, it takes away the ease- of-use out off an amazing browser. YouTube better fix it asap!

ps...embedded Dailymoition, Vimeo, etc, videos work fine.

yeah no, its not going to happen as there is nothing to fix. They did something similar with PS3 and others, actually in the case of PS3 I think you can still watch Youtube videos on its browser. Dont throw a fit. i fully expect their to be a Youtube app like some of the other systems have. Im actually surprised its not on Wii u yet, but will be soon.

Wii u has its own YouTube app.

Did you even read what I wrote properly? I said embedded YouTube videos posted on sites can't be played; disabled. Wacthing videos on YouTube works fine on the browser (before it didn't with the black screen when YT site had its update), When they finally enable to play videos on YouTube, they disabled embedded videos to be played on the same day.

Wasn't the OtherOS lesson enough? Console means they can take away features at any time.

Yes I'm upset that can't I do this one thing and I'm sharing this to the Nintendo community 'cause I want to and that's what forums are for, wether it does something or not.
