Forums - General Discussion - No More Heath Ledger

He managed to walk the fine line between sugar pop box office appeal and sheer acting cajones.

He will be missed.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Dark Knight will be fine....they were already in Post Production.  Terry Gilliam's new film, however, suffers a major setback.  Fans of Gilliam should note that Terry is a magnet for destruction and bad luck.

Well,Now i  Have to see it...the movie will actually make more money because of his death....this is so sad

Heath was an okay actor. But the death of Chris Penn made me really sad.

Talk about unexpected

The Dark Knight was finished, but this is still quite a tragedy. Heath Ledger was definitely growing as an actor in the last 5 years, and it is a shame that he will no longer be with us. Just wasted potential...

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Damn ... he was such a great actor, i was really looking forward his role as the Joker.
Just like Gamerace said ... how can you be at the top of your game and think that there's no hope .... there's always hope =(... even so ... how can you ever think that there's no hope ... it's so sad when someone takes his own life ... specially a young person ...
Only God knows what he was passing for to make such a decission

RIP Heath

According to the article him and His Wife Split up....wondering if that had something to do with it?

He was good in Sin Eater. Wasn't Heath in the lead role in Sin Eater?

'Tis a sad day indeed. I loved his work in the Patriot, a Knight's Tale, and Ten Things I Hate About You. I'm highly anticipating the Dark Knight as well.
