In my opinion MKWii is the best because it has many characters and for the first time in Mario Kart you can use bikes and that makes it so awesome!!

i forgot to mention that MKWii has great online mode too!

Mario kart 64, it had the best tracks by far for me (Wario Stadium, Royal Raceway, DK's Jungle Parkway , Yoshi Valley, Rainbow Road, Block Fort (just the best arena in the series for battle mode...). Graphics, gameplay and multiplayer were a huge step over Super Mario Kart. In my opinion, followed by Mario Kart Wii.

I think it comes down to Double Dash and 7 for me.

Great! You should be honored! I like it alot too 1st handheld MK, I like it more than MK(DS), The tracks are better!

Mario Kart 64 for the battle mode, Mario Kart Wii for everything else.

It was a little on the infuriating side at times but the balance was a lot better than some of the haters would have you believe. It kept the playing field level for people of a similar skill level but rewarded you if you were genuinely better than your competition. You still couldn't win every game, but you would win 9/10.

Having said that, I have high hopes for MKU.

Indeed. That game is great.

OT: Mario Kart DS is my favorite for its great tracks and for being a technical marvel on the DS. They're all fun though, except for Super Circuit because it just doesn't run well IMO.

MKDS > MKWii > MK64 = SMK >> MK7 > MKDD >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MKSC

I feel like Mario Kart DS had the most content/features so i would say its the best game in the series.

I had the most fun with 64 though, cant beat nostalgia.
