they pretty much said, "in this Nintendo Direct, we were merely talking about DQ", not "we are not working on load times for wii u"

thats my opinion on the matter

Anyone who actually has a WiiU knows the loading times aren't that bad once the system is updated. Less than 10 seconds. It was pre-online update where it was sorta bad upwards of 20 seconds. It was never 40 seconds as was reported, and the update took me less than one hour, not the many hours that was reported.

Honestly I find this hilarious. Apparently the Wii U owners on these forums don't seem to be bothered by playing the waiting game.

At least I'm bothered. >:(

While this won't kill me of course, I hate long waiting times. Basically anything over 5 seconds starts ticking me off. :/

Ya I don't think it is really annoying as well, but slowly this generation has thought me to wait, since in my eyes all three are bad at times. (I really should become a PC only...shouldn't I)

If they are not working on it, the totally should!

I'm sure they are though.

The solution will arrive when Ninty will have decided between two options: upgrading Wii U and replacing the units already sold with faster ones or replacing the gamers with slower ones!

It is nice that they have made it clear that they don't have any intentions of replacing a feature their players love. I expect Nintendo to release a game that simulates watching paint dry in the near future. That will be another sure fire million seller.

Just a little jocularity here folks. Take it as the ribbing it was intended as. After reading another thread on this very subject. A interesting thought occurred to me. When exactly does a load become bad. I mean we are talking about a operating system here, and not accessing a external content provider. All I have heard is people saying it isn't that bad.

Because most people just play games on it and it doesn't take long to load those lol. The speed varies too, I don't know WTF is going on in the background, but load times differ sometimes and things can close really fast then take a long time a day later, it's random as shit. Though he did say they'd improve it in the future in that video though so I don't know what the deal is.
