My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

all these prediction for next gen marketshare are just blind shots in the dark. The only next gen system we know anything about is the wii u. I'll wait until Microsoft and sony release details on their new console before I'll venture a guess. I think it is important to consider each consoles merits individually, brand strength will only take you so far *cough* playstation phone *cough*...

im thinking the same thing. they must be living in an alternate universe. i can already see microsoft losing in europe and japan. soo.. they win the gen with just UK and US? not a chance. UK and US also care the least about loyalty. they'll buy whichever is cheaper or releases first.

apparently its just common sense now that xbox will win next generation. they have yet to win a gen, they will still end in last place this generation despite releasing the earliest and yet somehow they will win next generation! common sense?  absolutely ridiculous.

I'm very interested in the resection Sony gets in Japan. They are going to be behind in the US, leading in Europe and Asia. They are going to be close.

Sony - 45%
Microsoft - 20%
Nintendo - 35%

the Sony/Microsoft market share all depends on when they release next gen consoles. If the 720 and PS4 release at the same time then I think Sony could easily beat them.
