Except for the excuses as to why 360 is nearly tied, well done.

Glad to see Brasil embracing gaming! :)

Interesting to hear, no handhelds mentioned though?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

That's not my excuses... it's the articles.

Anyway the prices here: R$1399 PS3 vs R$799 360.

What I get from there numbers...

- PS2 is the high selling here yet
- PS3 is the second but 360 is catching it (360 is way cheaper, it's produced here and it can be easily unlocked)
- Wii is weak here
- The grow year over year is AMAZING
- 60 million Brazilians have consoles at home.. EPIC

60 million people have consoles at home ?  Wasn't expecting market to be this big.

It's not an excuse. The reason PS2 is still king around here, is piracy.

Where does it say that the PS3 sells more than the 360?

Those growth numbers are insane, in a decade this could be one of the biggest markets, as long as they catch up with the gens and piracy keeps decreasing.

I think it's all consoles combined... Super Nes, Playstation, Playstation 2, etc... at least one console.
