Retro is working on a game we all want them to work on, apparently
But what could that be?! Let's find out, shall we?! If we all vote for the project we want them to work on, surely that should show us what they're working on?

A giant Star Fox Game, with 20+ hours of story and lots of secrets, with graphics that will show wiiu's real potential and a great online.

Man, I would love that! And after that I'd like them to do a new IP :D

I am torn between Star Fox and new IP, but I eventually chose Star Fox. I find greater utility in keeping a favorite franchise alive than in a never-before-seen game.
However, and I may be in the minority on this, I would prefer Retro doesn't touch Zelda. I love Retro to death, but that's one franchise that should be off limits.

I hope Starfox,
I never really enjoyed Metroid.

I'd like a new IP, but I don't think Nintendo will invest big dollars in an unproven IP these days.
So probably something like Star Fox or even another DKC would be fine with me (bring back David Wise to do the music please).
I think they've done just about everything with Metroid, so basically anything but Metroid.

I'd like to see them revive the stuff they had been working on prior to being bought by Nintendo. I'm referring, of course, to Raven Blade. Not that the resulting game would bear any real resemblance to the original, but I'd like to see them return to the idea.
If they're going to work on an existing IP, I'd like to see them work with Battalion Wars. I think that, with the help of Retro, a truly great game could result.
But I don't think either one is the one that Retro is referring to when they say "a project everyone wants us to do". I think that the most likely cases are Zelda, another Metroid, or, at a stretch, Fire Emblem.
