I use game collector  then I exported it to txt file and sorted my last modified date and copied all the games I got in 2012.

Without that I would not have a clue. I skipped the steam games as I could not be bothered writing them out manually. Steam and their summer said would have made them millions.

Thank goodness most of my consoles record which games I've played.  I used to count on my gaming collection on VGChartz to do the dirty work for me.  I actually had to look up each title either physically or by checking my gameplay data on the respective consoles.  Still feel like I'm missing something.  Oh, well.  Also, depending on the XBLA sale, I may download a few cheap titles.

You say, "Lewis, you've played a lot of games this year.  What is your personal Game of the Year?"  

I say, "That's an easy one.  The game I enjoyed most this year was.........

Yeah, it had some issues and you probably won't like it like I did but this game.  Wow.  I love it so much.  I'm gonna replay it soon.

This year was pretty weak as far as I´m concerned, I only got:

Silent Hill Downpour (it´s 'ok', but I prefer Homecoming, which must be an unpopular opinion among SH fans)

Mass Effect 3 (disappointed me)

And..that´s it, love the last two on the list, at least....actually, to me this year is the weakest of the whole generation..next year, though, it´s gonna be MASSIVE!

I rated the games I have played/beat, I also put a price on the PSP games I bought since I bought 80% of my PSP library this year, along with my PSP. Mush better then a Vita.

So for my PSP and all 22 games (Above plus GT5, Resistance, Star Ocean 1 & 2, Disgaea 2, Tactics Ogre, Trails in the Sky, Tales of the World, Crisis Core, and Jeanne D'Arc) I paid $401.50 plus tax. Compare that to a $250 Vita and $50 a game, I think this was a bargan. Now I have enough portable games on my DS/PSP to last well, the 8th generation LOL, but I will get a 3DS down the road for Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Nothing really catches my eye these days.
