I've got to defend the Gamecube. It had some of the best games of all time

Hmm, "Video Game Degrees." Seems pretty legit to me.. Guess Nintendo is DOOM3D again, for the wise prophets at Video Game Degrees have foretold! :(

I think people focus too much time finding things to hate and too little time finding things they love.

That article is an obvious rampant troll that makes little to no sense and reflects the writers wishes more than it offers any sort of analysis.

The 360 is a worst console than the Wii U purely because of the RROD issue. The worst console is the one that doesnt work. Yet, here we are still happy with the way that turned out.

Worst? No... I think it is a nice console.

But one of the weakest I've seen... I think so... I can't compare yet but the Wii was so weak too.

* in it own generation of course *

just by having this article linked in this thread already gives the author more attention that he deserves, I mean he's not even remotely interested in facts.

I don’t deny that the newest Mario and Zelda games will be amazing. But do we really need the Wii U to play these games? I, for one, would be just as happy to play those games on my Microsoft or Sony consoles.

Yeah good luck with that.

And somehow I have more faith in my 3 year old playing with the WiiU pad then with a $500 tablet.

Most of this writer's arguments surround how terrible the GamePad controller is, especially in regards to graphics and its touch screen. First, as can be attested to by many posters on this site, the graphics look great on the Pad. Even so much that many here have stated they are content to look at their controller screen versus their large tv displays. Secondly, the writer states that the GamePad only accepts stylus input and that you need to press very hard to get it to respond to the touch of a finger. Really? I use my finger and stylus interchangably, mostly based on how precise I want to be, not whether the screen will respond.

This writer obviously did his research via forums and wikis and certainly didn't go hands on with the console. To make such an outlandish judgment on a console (barely a month into its release at that) without testing out the theories garnered from the internet is laughable.

Certainly there are many claims that you can make about Nintendo's new console, but if you're going to come out swinging you might want to make sure that the weak spots are as weak as you've been told.

Just some basic bullshit journalism. He didn't even bring up one positive thing about it, made a huge deal out of things that most would consider non-issues and didn't talk about any games released for it. All he did was spewing relentless bias.

I advice everyone to ignore this "article" and move on with their lives.

JOURNALISM? You better take that back or I'll have to report you. This is just some fanboy shitblog, dreaming about having sweet sweet love with his favorite console, shitting on the competition. Look at the pictures. This isn't journalism, no matter how far you stretch that word.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I've never understood people's interest in crowning a "worst" of a category. Whether it's the worst president of America, worst smartphone, worst expansion of World of Warcraft, or worst console of a generation. You can't actually back up what you're saying, because you've never tried them all. Additionally, the focus is in the completely wrong place. It's a negativism that never brings anything good with it.

It's partly the need to push other stuff down to bring yourself up, I suppose, but it seems that the people who do it never quite are happy. And yet, it's becoming increasingly common on the internet. I suppose it's part of the trend of becoming happy by others' misfortune on the Internet, but it's still very alarming.
