Blah Blah Blah VGChartz doesn't track PS2 and hasn't for a blah blah while now so the sales on VGChartz have haulted blah blah.

In reality, VGChartz is WAAAAY off on PS2 sales by over 10-15 million and that number will only grow. The PS2 still to this day can sell millions per year. The DS had an incredible run but it has too big of a hill to climb thanks to 3DS cutting into its sales. YoY for DS does not look good at all and I'd be surprised if by the end of it all if DS is even within 8-10 million of the PS2.

I calculate PS2 sales at 156.18 million as of October 1st 2012. It should reach about 156.72 million by years end.

Your data that you provided is based on VGChartz data which is accurate for all things THIS gen, not LAST gen. LAST gen is the PS2 era meaning the sales provided by VGChartz are WAAAAY off, got it?

I've read threads for about a year now about this exact topic of how the DS will overtake the PS2 and every time that theory is shot down due to cold hard facts provided by multiple people and yet the ignorance still pertains.

If this economic crisis continue in Europe I think that both PS720 might have just as a hard time as Wii U currently has. The up side for Nintendo then is that Wii U will be the cheapest next gen, and thus probably selling more than PS720. But hopefully something is done in EU... This cannot go on! It's like only Northern Europe has its shit together.
