NIS America has announced that the third installment of their Playstation 3 exclusive RPG series, Hyperdimension Neptunia, will be hitting North American shelves in March.
The game, titled Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, will be coming to the North American market on March 12, and the European market on March 15.
Neptune reprises her role as the game’s main character, and will come into contact with friends both old and new after being transported back into the 1980s version of Gamindustri. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory features a dynamic combat system with units that move freely, a Scout System which allows players to gather information about a dungeon, and new abilities which are acquired by burning different types of data onto blank discs.

I know what you mean. I feel the same way.
I like the premise. A story about the console war and throwback to the old consoles sounds like a lot of fun, but the way its presented is.....questionable to say the least. This is coming from a guy who plays JRPGs like crazy. But these ones are just out there.
Still maybe someday I'll give this game a try if they actually improved the battle mechanics over the previous games.
