by Jordan LaPorte on December 12, 2012 at 12:20 PM
Assassin’s Creed III is now the fastest-selling game in the history of Ubisoft, according to a statement released by the company today. Assassin’s Creed III has topped 7 million in sales worldwide since it was released.
Ubisoft states that over 82 centuries of gaming time has been accumulated by players since the game’s release, and more than 3 billion in-game assassinations have been carried out. There are also twice as many players participating in the multiplayer of Assassin’s Creed III compared to Revelations, with those players logging over 5 billion multiplayer sessions.

I'm sorry to say I'm one of the 7 million that bought into the hype. The sea battles were fun, the rest was all a step backwards.
If anyone is at all on the fence between AC3 and Far Cry 3, go for Far cry 3!

havent played it enough to judge it, despite having it week 1(got Liberation at the same time and in truth im having more fun with that). It just didnt grab me like the Ezio games. But to say its the worst is laughable, its still better than the orginal and the PSP one

Good for them, even though I hate the franchise.
Now they need put that production quality into other franchises......cough splinter cell cough. Why cant splinter cell be open ended, and have an epic story??!?!!

Hope this means more games are going to cash in on sea battles.. The industry always mimics success
