The game of the year has not been nominated yet but these are the nominees for The Editors Choice Award. This should be pretty accurate as it seems it is so far. They have not nominated the GoTY list so I'll post it when they do
My personal choices from GameSpot's Editor choices.
However the player choice area is on now and you can vote for it (Round 1B atm) - I did my own votes and almost all of the games I voted for are winning l0l.
The player choices options are horrid compared to the Editor's Choices and the match ups are so broken lol.
I love this thread and I just want to say that as a Wii fan, I revoke the sony crowd the right to declare victory while the Wii is at the helm of sales.

Players choice always sucks on everything. Exclusives get chewed up by haters from both all three parties and then fanboys vote for them no matter what. It just becomes a match between the exclusives seeing which one has the most hate at that point lol

Also, I am surprised Diablo 3 did not make to the list at all nor Gravity Rush/Daze and Pokemon White 2 ;(

Yeah it was surprising about Gravity Daze. I understood Persona 4 Golden because its's a remake. Anyways Im sure Gravity Daze will get plenty of nominations on other sites.
Gamespot does not like pokemon much because they are the same everytime. I dont know if they dont like it but they dont believe it should get high scores or get nominated because of that reason

To clarify, the bolded are the recently updated winners and not your personal choice out of the nominated? I'm pretty sure they're the winners but I had to ask just in case.

These are the editor choice awards, not mine.
Personally I'm really happy to see Spelunky edge out Mario since Spelunky is new and original.
It'll be interesting to see what wins the XBLA award because that list is pretty good. Probably the most competive list on here other than Shooter of the year
