Which console/handheld are you going to buy next? When? And why have you chosen that over the other options? 

A simple enough question. The hard bit will be for the spammers to avoid posting crap and fanboys going on about how wonderful their console is

Console? PS3

When? When the price comes down and backwards compatibility is reintroduced.

Why? I think it would go well with my Wii. They both do completely different things and offer different games and experiences. I really enjoy the Wii's interactivity and Nintendo's inventive games but I also want to play super sleek racers etc which the Wii's technology can't provide. I'm not interested in Blu Ray so I'm not willing to pay lots of money for it which is why I'm waiting for the price to come down.

I've chosen it over the 360 even though I very nearly bought one a while ago. I never bought a PS2 but it's got plenty of games I want to play. If BC is reintroduced then the PS3 will provide a great opportunity to do so and of course I can't play PS2 games on a 360. Finally, Microsoft's tech issues have put me off buying from them. If they're willing to put out an untested product then they clearly don't care about their customers and I don't want to give my money to them. For all Sony and Nintendo's evils I don't believe they treat their customers with contempt. It's a shame because at the moment the 360 does have more games that I want to play. Hopefully the PS3 will come into its own in the next year or so.

When: Whenever the white model comes out.

Why: Because I always buy two of my favorite consoles, and white is my favorite color.

Well, I'm going to buy a Wii because I don't own one right now (but I did and sold it).

Since I own a 360, PS3, DS, PSP, I guess there isn't a lot left for me to buy.

I currently have access to all systems so I don't plan on buying any now. My roomate has a 360 and ps2. My brother has a Ps3 and I have a Wii and Ds. So all-in-all I am set for this gen.

Console: PS3

When: Before Metal Gear Solid IV comes out

Why: The PS3 has many games that I want to play on there, I'm not going to go into a long list like I'm expected to, just a short one. Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, and Final Fantasy XIII.

Actually I re-buy a PSP. I used to own phat some time ago. I didn't specify why and when so here I go:

When: June

Why: CCFFVII, GoW:CoO... also I'm getting married on June 28th and I need a handheld to kill the boredom in plane (I'm going to fly to Turkey (Honeymoon) so PSP's battery lifetime is about right )

There are more PC games coming out that I'm interested in than ones for the two consoles and two handhelds I don't own.

I would have bought a 8800GT already but unfortunately I would also have to upgrade the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and power supply as well.  I can't justify spending that kind of money for some more games when I already have a backlog of them on the 360 and the PC I have now does everything else I use it for adequately (web surfing, programming, etc).

PC upgrade will come first before I buy another console.

Interested in a 360 or PS3 as I have a Wii and DS.

At the moment 360 is winning me over, PS3 needs more exclusives and more games in general.

If I buy one this year it will be towards the end of the year possibly Christmas time or when there is a price cut.

Im gonna Buy a Wii.
