They should be releasing a lot of VC games since they are not releasing any real games this holiday.

The remakes are probably the reason. They might eventually, but I doubt the older versions of the games they remade will be available.

Don't see why not.
Too bad they would suffer the same fate as the N64 library available on the Wii did though. Namely a complete lack of Rareware titles.
Without their grace, it's basically just Nintendo 32.

Of course, they should. But what about those SNES and GBA games? I want them as well. At least Nintendo can blame harder emulation when it comes to N64 games but SNES and GBA games should be really easy to emulate and put up on the eShop.

considering what THE1 said you're better off just buying an n64. IMHO the whole VC thing needs a swift kick in the ass.

They did have the Donkey Kong Country titles on Wii Shop channel for awhile until they recently pulled them (apparently just from the EU shop). I suppose it is all a licensing issue but I am not too sure. I believe I got 1 & 2 before they pulled them so I can still play them.

They don't need all of the N64 games. They just Need Ogre battle 64.

Add me on Steam right now! Shakarak
Or on Wii U shakarak!

Right now, I suspect the 3DS's VC accidentally became a mess for Nintendo. No doubt originally, it was meant to be just the portable games available with the NES and GBA titles being released later once they got a good idea of sales of the 3D remade classics, but the Ambassador program forced their hands and those of us that like classic NES games available on the got the reward.
Now, people are questioning why they can't just release the other VC games since obviously, the 3DS can handle most of them. Nintendo probably is still working on getting more GBA and other portable games, before working on trying to compress N64 or SNES games.
