Amidst some mediocre receptions to WiiU in the mainstream media, it's nice to see one praise Nintendo's new console.  The WiiU is listed as #2 on TIME's Techland gadget of the year, second to the iPhone5.  The top 10 list is as follows:

I haven't even heard of some of these things, but I'm glad to see WiiU acclaimed nonetheless.

Nice, though I'm a bit annoyed it's not #1. Good showing by Sony cameras, too. But why is a 15" laptop ranked over the Surface?

iphone 5 takes the top spot?? must be a disappointing year for electronics if iphone 5 wins with the massive number of issues it has had.
